My research residency at Turbulent in collaboration with CQAM consisted of mobile devices and augmented reality experiments. Some elements developed are related to Meteors, a body of works inspired by the cosmos and geology that probes space-time and the complexity of matter, both physical and digital. Meteors addresses computational photography by making use of photogrammetry as well as mixed reality by proposing experiences in which the sensitivity of the devices’ sensors is amplified through images and sound.
Thanks to Turbulent, CQAM and Conseil des arts de Montréal, in particular to Romain Tavenard, Benoit Danis, Claire Buffet and Isabelle L’Italien.
